Apron

Description

Sewology by RaRa is a combination of 50 years of sewing with a Grandmother’s love. I have been sewing since I was a child, always challenging myself to do something more difficult. Encouraged by my mom and receiving awards through the 4-H club, and a place in the State Sewing Review. I have worked in a bridal shop to learn alterations. I have since created several wedding gowns, a tuxedo for my husband and countless garments for family and friends. I have taught sewing at 4-H clubs, to my daughter and starting to teach my granddaughter. At ten months old, my granddaughter named me RaRa, and it stuck. About the same time, she also refused to wear bibs, but loved the Minnie Mouse apron I fashioned for her. Friends asked me to make different aprons for them, and my apron line was developed. As she grew, she outgrew aprons, except for baking. She started loving dolls, and and needed clothes for her dolls. My love for sewing doll clothes, especially wedding gowns was born.
